Quality Time

Today is Valentine's Day and love is in the air! Have you shown any love to those around you, today?
In the day to day grind and hustle of this business, sometimes our personal relationships can pay the price. A great real estate broker is accessible to their clients for last minute showings, questions, concerns, and unexpected issues. But that can sometimes that can mean missed meals, games, recitals, and quality time with our families.


Today I want to take a break from real estate advice and instead encourage you to show a little extra love to those around you. That doesn’t mean you need to spend excessive amounts of money. After all, you cannot put a price on quality time. Whether it’s going out to dinner or just time at home, whatever it is – ditch the distractions. Turn off your phone, don’t worry about your email, and put your attention on the relationships around you.

  Touching The 3 rd Rail: Farmland Leases   When you think of “top secret” information, what comes to mind? It might surprise you to learn that some of the most closely guarded information in the business world is not a password, account number, or safe combination, it’s Farmland Lease Rates. Bet you didn’t see that one coming. These lease rates are often set and then forgotten, never seeing the light of day again. Surprisingly, there is no clearing house of information or database of comps for landowners & potential tenants to research when trying to determine a lease rate. The agreed upon rates are, more or less, a shot in the dark and sealed with a handshake between friends.
